In short

Your videos are edited on your own device. We keep only what is needed to run your account, and we never sell data or show ads.

EditnShip for Mac

Projects, media and API keys stay on your Mac. Media and transcripts go only to the AI providers whose keys you enter and to the platforms you connect. If you sign in to buy or restore a licence, the app sends us your account id, your Mac's name and the app version, and checks your licence when it is online. It checks for a new version when it starts. Usage events are off unless you turn on sharing in Settings. A diagnostics report (no keys, transcripts, prompts or file names) is saved to a file only when you ask for one, and is sent to us only if you email it.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A temporary security cookie protects Google sign-in and expires after ten minutes. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

Settings → My Account → Delete removes your account, your cloud projects and your media. Projects stored in your browser stay there until you delete them or clear the site's data.

Google user data

EditnShip uses Google data only to sign you in and, if you ask, to upload videos and thumbnails to your YouTube channel. Its use of information from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
